Hello! My name is Grantland Hall. I am a scientist, software engineer, amature musician, and two-time failed entrepreneur. My research specialty is cosmology and early universe physics. I am currently working on a number of projects measuring the Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB) at Stanford. I wrote a Science! explainer about the CMB. As part of my research, I got to spend a full year living and working at the Geographic South Pole! You can also read a compilation of my experiences while I was there.
I also do freelance web development on the side. You can see a sample of my work.
